Our Story

Our passion for food and for cooking comes from the same place — home. Magdalena grew up in Poland, and Eugenia was born and raised in Venezuela. For both of us, food represents comfort, connection, and some of our favorite family memories.

 

Magdalena learned to cook with her mom, always pushing the boundaries of Polish cuisine in delicious and healthy ways. Eugenia cooked alongside her dad, grabbing random ingredients and turning them into something muy tasty.

 

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where old and new friends can meet in the melting pot that is New York, and share a delicious, cozy, and beautiful meal. We strive to blend our cultures and traditions into something new. And that's how Amiga™ was born—more a nickname than an actual club.
