Hejka! I'm Magdalena
I grew up in Poland, a country where hosting and gathering around the table with loved ones is part of who we are. Limited access to foreign ingredients taught me to be resourceful and creative—crafting memorable meals from simple, high-quality ingredients.
As I pursued my scientific career I kept moving around. First, I moved to Portugal for a student exchange. After graduating, I lived in Belgium and eventually settled in New York City. My culinary world kept expanding. Each place I’ve lived has inspired me—fusing seasonal and local ingredients with the comforting flavors of my Polish roots to create dishes that tell a story and bring people together.
