Tomatoes with Brown Butter

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 small shallot
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut tomatoes and add them to the serving plate.
  2. Finely chop the shallot and sprinkle it all over the tomatoes.
  3. On the frying pan, on medium high, add butter and continue to cook.
  4. Once melted, the butter will foam up and should start having a nutty aroma. 
  5. Pour brown butter over tomatoes and sprinkle it with salt to taste.
