INGREDIENTS:
- 4 pretzel buns
- 4 patties (meat of your choice)
- 2 onions
- 4 slices cheddar
- 1/2 cup kewpie mayo
- 1/3 cup gochujang paste
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 cup sesame seeds
- 1 clove of garlic
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Caramelize onion until brown (approximately 30-40 minutes). Ad the very end add teaspoons of sugar to caramelize it.
- Whisk the sugar and vinegar together in a bowl until the sugar dissolves. Add the gochujang, kewpie mayo, minced garlic, sesame seeds and mix together.
- Cook patties to your desired temperature and at the end add a slice of cheese to each patty (until fully melted).
- Toast each pretzel bun. Put sauce on each of the buns. Place your patty on top of the bottom bun and top with caramelized onions.
