Lazy Dumplings

INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (starch)
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined. The mixture will be slightly sticky.
- With wet hands to prevent sticking, take small portions of the cottage cheese mixture and shape them into small roll and start cutting with the knife pieces about the size of a walnut.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the bread crumbs. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Boil the water and cook the dumplings for about 2-3 min from the moment they will float on the surface of the water.
- Once the dumplings are cooked transfer them to a serving plate and add melted butter with breadcrumbs.
