INGREDIENTS:
- 4 slices of brioche bread
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- Pinch of salt
- Butter for cooking
- Maple syrup for drizzling
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Allow excess to drip off.
Melt a pat of butter on the preheated skillet. Place the coated brioche slices on the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed.
Transfer the cooked French toast to serving plates.
Drizzle with maple syrup over the top.
Optional: Garnish with fresh berries, a dusting of powdered sugar, or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful brioche French toast for a delicious breakfast or brunch for two!
