Brioche French Toast

Beautiful French experience with brioche drizzled with a good amount of maple syrup and generous slice of butter.

Serving: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 slices of brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for drizzling

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

  3. Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Allow excess to drip off.

  4. Melt a pat of butter on the preheated skillet. Place the coated brioche slices on the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed.

  5. Transfer the cooked French toast to serving plates.

  6. Drizzle with maple syrup over the top.

  7. Optional: Garnish with fresh berries, a dusting of powdered sugar, or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
